PremiumCoat
sustainable roofing and waterproofing system is one of the highest
quality roofing and waterproofing systems available. It is recognized
by Factory Mutual as a Class 1 roofing system as both a stand alone
roof system and as a recover system over a variety of substrates.
It is made of only the best raw materials to form a flexible, U. V.
resistant elastomeric compound and is fully reinforced with a tough
nonwoven polyester fabric which has been designed for roofing and
flashing applications of all types.
PremiumCoat
is easy to apply, safe to work with, and requires no special equipment.
Properly installed, the system includes a 10-year warranty in specific
roofing applications, which can be extended every 10 years under a
proper maintenance schedule.

NOTE: All existing roof surfaces should
be power washed and cleaned to remove any
loose or flaking particles, lubricants or excess dirt or dust.

Surface
Preparation: Application
-
Install cant strips at internal corners, and flat metal drip edge
on outside perimeter.
-
Apply
6 inch wide strip of FoundationCoat, fabric, and saturation coat
over cracks and non-working joints.
-
Apply 12 inch wide strip of FoundationCoat, fabric, and saturation
coat over all cant strips and around the entire perimeter of the
roof.
-
Apply
FoundationCoat and saturation coats at a total rate of 40 sq. ft/gal
minimum.
-
Apply
FoundationCoat to the entire area.
-
Embed
fabric directly into the coating while still wet.
-
Overlap
adjacent runs of fabric 4 inches minimum (per side).
-
Immediately
follow with a saturation coat to cover fabric and allow to dry.
-
Using
6, 8, 12, or 40 inch flashing fabric, continue waterproofing material
up vertical surface and onto roof deck, over insulation board and
on to the drip edge.
-
Apply
2 coats of FinishCoat at a combined total coverage rate of 70 sq.
ft/gal.
-
Flash
all penetrations through waterproofing with complete fabric system.
-
Apply
waterproofing material to minimum 40 mil total cured thickness.

Thoroughly rinse application equipment with clean water.
|
|
PremiumCoat has a shelf life of eighteen (18) months provided it is
stored in tightly closed containers, protected from sunlight and stored
at temperatures between 40º F and 90º F.
