TrafficCoat St. Simon's IslandTrafficCoat is a specialty paint for unique performance requirements. It resists wear yet remains flexible to absorb surface stresses. In addition to providing a positive aesthetic appearance, TrafficCoat covers minor surface cracks and imperfections.

Application Specifics:

Surface Preparation:

The surface must be clean and free from any loosely adhering particles, flaking paint or substrate. The surface must be dry and oil free.

Priming:

Prime the surface with SureBond Primer if the surface shows evidence of chalking. Otherwise no priming is necessary as long as the surface is clean and dry.

Application:

  • Apply the first coat by brush, roller, or spray at a rate of 125 square feet per gallon.
  • Apply in smooth, generous coats to assure TrafficCoat fills minor surface cracks and imperfections.
  • After the first coat has dried, apply a generous second coat at the same rate.

Clean Up:

Thoroughly rinse application equipment with clean water.
